If the pen input on your signotec Sigma Lite does not work, this is probably due to the fact that a confirmation dialog has been configured but cannot be displayed on the device without a display.
To deactivate the confirmation dialog, you must proceed differently depending on the software:
- signoSign/2
The setting must be deactivated in the "Document types". Simply go to "Extras -> Document types". Select the desired type from the list on the left (default: "All other documents"). In the 3rd tab on the right side "Signature field settings" a tick is activated "Before the signing process the confirmation of the following text in the pad is necessary". Deactivate this check mark and save the settings. Now the Pad should work as desired.
- Adobe Plug-In
If you are using the signotec Adobe plug-in, a setting in the configuration file "stsignpdf.ini" must be deactivated. The file can be found (depending on the product) in the Plug-Ins directory of Adobe Reader or Professional, e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\plug_ins". In the INI file there is an entry "ShowAGB=1". Change this to "ShowAGB=0" and save the file. After a restart of the Adobe product the pad should now work as desired.
