When you start the signature process, you receive the following error message.
You have configured a certificate with a key length of more than 2048 bits for the encryption of the biometric data and want to load this certificate into the signature pad. However, the signature pad used only supports the storage of a certificate in the pad with a key length of max. 2048 bits.
You have four different options to solve or work around the problem.
- In Configuration > Signature settings, set the mode for the biometrics certificate to "Always PC".
- Deactivate the "Exchange certificate of the signature device" setting
- Configure and use a certificate with a key length of 2048 bits max.
- Use a signature pad that supports certificates with a key length of 2048 bits
